Where to Find Roller Skating Lessons for Adults in Atlanta Metro - Last Updated February 2024
We researched 17 roller rinks in the Atlanta Metro area looking for adult roller skating lessons. We also researched available options for private roller skating lessons so that we could list them here in one place.

We found 7 local Atlanta Roller Rinks that offer some kind of roller skating lessons. We've combed the internet looking for current offerings as of February 2024. All of the info below was available on the internet as of February 19th, 2024, but is subject to change or may be out-of-date...please contact the rink or roller skate instructors directly to verify times and sign up for lessons.

Who: This is an all ages class – everyone is welcome!
When: The class is Saturdays at 8am. It usually goes until about 9:30am.
How Much: $30 per person and includes the skate rental.
2. Skater's Choice of Georgia aka Hot Wheels
Skater's Choice of Georgia (formerly Hot Wheels) has weekly ADULT roller skating lessons on their schedule every Monday just prior to the Adult Night skate. Hot Wheels' lesson is the in-person roller skating lesson that Eddy and I attended back when we were getting started roller skating. (Read more about Liz’s Skate Story and Eddy’s Skate Story).
Who: This is an adult only class offered right before the JB Tuesday Adult Skate session which is for 25+ ONLY
When: This weekly roller skating class is offered Tuesdays from 6:00pm-7:00pm.
How Much: The price is $20 and includes admission from 6-11pm for the JB Tuesday Adult Skate 25+ session
4. Cascade Skating
Cascade Skating offers roller skating lessons 5 days out of the week! We're listing the info as we found it as of the latest update to this post, but please visit the Cascade lessons page for the most up-to-date information. The pricing info on their page was referencing a summer special, but since it's October now, I'm not sure it's accurate, so I've left it off for now....just visit their site to get the latest.
Stone Mountain Skates offers several roller skating lessons on Sundays. It looks like intermediate class is offered every other Sunday and the Adult Beginners and Kids classes are offered every Sunday.
Starlite in Stockbridge GA offers a 5 week class that meets on Saturdays at noon. It looks like the series started November 12, 2023 and I'm not clear on if you can join in the middle of the series, etc. Check with the rink for details.
8. KameoRoll - Private One-on-One and Group Lessons
KameoRoll offers private one-on-one and group roller skating lessons in Atlanta. KameoRoll is owned by Kamille, a notable Atlanta professional/celebrity choreographer, dancer, personal trainer, and artist developer, mentor. Kamille owns and operates Kameo Production Studios, LLC : 678-499-7537.

Cece aka Skate Fantacee is another notable professional Atlanta skater who offers private skate lessons. Cece founded World Wide Rolloutday in 2020, and in just two years, it spread to over 27 countries! She is a certified fitness instructor, personal trainer, skate coach and Riedell superstar. 10. RollerFit
RollerFit offers roller skating classes in the context of a fitness class program or membership....it's a Roller Fitness Studio offering an adult roller dance fitness program in its own studio that caters to ALL LEVELS of skill and experience.

Nikki's Roller Skate Shop in Powder Springs currently offers Adult rollerskating lessons and workshops (as of December 2023) on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Check their website for specific times.

No skills or equipment required....they have loaners for everything you would need. As a recent empty nester, Liz rediscovered the joy of roller skating in 2022 at the age of 52. She roller skates in roller rinks as much as possible along with her husband Eddy and has a lot of fun creating roller skating videos for social media that show how fun it all is.
